A very special congratulations to my dear friend Warren who is now engaged to his partner Ellie.  The blessed event happed whilst on a grand European tour, and pictures are pending shortly.  Congrats dude!!

We as Americans, and indeed many citizens of the world, have paid an enormous price for the blissful complacency of a silent majority. I hope that the painful lessons of the last eight years have taught us a thing or two about the consequences of the death of outrage.

May we listen to our friends, for there is virtue in dialogue. May we engage our opponents, for there is wisdom in debate. And may we never again remain silent.
